St. Gregorios Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Church Building Project

St. Gregorios Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church is a parish of the South-West American Diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church camisetas de futbol of India. We have acquired about five acres of land in Elgin. The motivation behind acquiring this piece of land was to support a Church building that will seat about 700 members, accommodate parking for about 200 cars and house a parsonage building. There is an existing building (house) in the property, which is occasionally put to use by various church organizations for the members to come together in worship and for meetings.

In phase 2, the Church plans to put together a fund raising strategy to raise funds for the construction of the church building. The fund raising strategy will include various fund raising programs aimed at both the membership and the external community. We plan to engage an architectural firm to render architectural designs for the new building in Phase 2.

Phase 3 consists of the actual construction of the Church, the parking lot and the parsonage building. We estimate this phase to last about an year.

We cannot accomplish this without the active support of the community and well wishers. We invite you to partner with us as we start this exciting journey.
